Camp Omagh’s Response to Covid19

We are looking forward to a fun, uplifting and memorable summer at Camp Omagh this year. Although we are unable to offer our traditional programming we are hoping to be able to offer some alternative options throughout the summer months. In order to offer this programming this summer we have put into place a number of COVID-19 measures to ensure the safety of those visiting Camp Omagh.

During this time we will be following all provincial and municipal regulations, while these regulations are subject to change, we appreciate your patience while we navigate these new waters.

Social distancing will be required during any visit and during all scheduled programming this summer.

Face coverings will be required in any building and where social distancing isn’t possible outdoors

All buildings as well as the property will be operating at limited capacity for the remainder of the summer to ensure there is enough room for appropriate social distancing as outlined by the Government of Ontario and Halton Municipality.

All high touch surfaces will be cleaned regularly and handwashing stations and hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the property.

All visitors to Camp Omagh will be required to pre-register using our online system and sign a COVID-19 waiver in order to visit Camp Omagh for any programming or while volunteering

Any person who may develop symptoms during their stay at Camp Omagh will need to report this to the organizers of the event and leave the property immediately.

A COVID-19 screening tool will also be used for anyone entering the property.

Thank you for continuing to support camp omagh. All functions and buildings will be open to limited capacity to ensure the safety and ability to socially distance during any programming and functions. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
